    Hey, the lights!!!!!
They are up! In time for the Food event! On Saturday.

Troll and Local Trader, was it you?

No, No, don’t be silly, must have been Chamber YET AGAIN.

Is it right there will be come photos in No 52?

The volunteers, – amazing turnout – congratulations.

One lady came up and said “Here put this towards the Lights, so good to see them after all that aggravation!” Didn’t even want to be named, but many thanks Mrs F. That’s why Kington is such a nice place to live! £10 in the bucket.

Some time ago, “Local Trader” said: “Are all the people with the quaint pseudonyms going to go along to assist any volunteers to erect lights this year ? Its a hard job. Positive suggestions are needed.”

Well, here’s a positive suggestion – Local Trader, get your wellies, hat and coat on, dear, and head off, under your quaint pseudonym, to help the Chamber of Trade put the lights up. I’m sure you’d be very welcome!! Not!!

Well done Kington Chamber of Trade for starting Christmas celebrations in Kington. This has been a wonderful event in the town for several years and long may it continue.
Well done also, after reading the article in the Mid Wales Journal, for giving us Christmas Lights. Well done for ‘going it alone’ and keeping well clear of the Town Council. It is good to see that people have faith in you by the donations and help you say you have received. May you collecting boxes be overflowing with donations from grateful people of Kington.
Is there any chance of the Chamber of Trade taking over the running of Kington instead of the Town Council?
